CARA was supposed to have their special needs database up in April. This database is where our family and other families information will be entered into the system to be “matched” with our son, and the other families can be matched with their child. If your family is dossier ready, the system will only accept new families the first of the month…so if you aren’t ready one month, you get a few more weeks to finish up. As it stands now there are quite a few families sitting on the edge waiting to be entered. It’s August, and the system is still.not.up. There had been  MAJOR hopes that August 1 would have brought this system, but now it seems we will wait until September.

It seems every other day there are new rumors flying around… about this and that. It is INSANLEY easy to get wrapped up in them, to become overrun with fear, anxiety, but at the end of the day what good does that do? It doesn’t.

In GREAT news, a precious family got their NOC in a record setting 10 days, and THEN, they learned that their judge would not require two trips (one for court and one for bringing their son home). Instead the judge will hear the case without the family in country!!! This is AMAZING news!!!

We have always prayed BIG in this area, and that one trip would be required of us, or that one of us could go for one trip and both for the other.  Our friends have all offered to help (again, we are beyond blessed with friends who are really our family), but we really don’t want to have to do that more than once….

So while this is ONE case, it’s confirmation from God that He writes the story, not us!

As most have heard by now Ind*a had the worst power outage in the world, and while most places don’t have AC, the outage affected peoples ability to cook, work, and live. Bless their hearts, I can’t imagine living without electricity.

A friend of ours is in the process of bringing home their 7th BEAUITFUL little girl and the Lord showed me 1 Corinthians 13:11 during their time of waiting….”Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. Allt hat I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.” What a precious verse but any of us while we wait!!!
